14 December 2007 - The Competition Commission today sent to the Secretary
of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR)
its report on the acquisition by British Sky Broadcasting
Group plc of 17.9% of the shares in ITV plc. The
Secretary of State now has 30 working days to consider the
report before making his decision. He has discretion as to when
he may publish the report within this period.
20 December 2007 - The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory

22 and 26 February 2008 - BSkyB and Virgin Media, respectively, lodged
with the Competition Appeals Tribunal (CAT) Notices of Application to
appeal against the CC’s report and the Secretary of State’s
